Meritorious Service Awards (Number of Awards) Determination 2022
It is notified for general information that the Governor-General has approved the following Determination to set the quotas for the following meritorious service awards within the Australian Honours System:
- Public Service Medal
- Australian Police Medal
- Australian Fire Service Medal
- Ambulance Service Medal
- Emergency Services Medal
- Australian Corrections Medal
- Australian Intelligence Medal
The Determination maintains existing quotas for each jurisdiction, while the amendment provides for additional recognition outside of these quotas, for service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A copy of the Determinations will be made available on the Governor-General’s website at www.gg.gov.au
