1. Name of Determination
This determination is the Medicare Guarantee (2017-18 Credit) Determination 2017 (No. 1).
2. Commencement
This determination commences on the day on which it is registered.
Note: Section 7 of the Medicare Guarantee Act 2017 provides that this determination is a notifiable instrument as defined by section 11 of the Legislation Act 2003.
3. Authority
This determination is made under section 7 of the Medicare Guarantee Act 2017.
4. Crediting of amounts
For section 7 of the Medicare Guarantee Act 2017, $33,849,000,000.00 is to be credited to the Medicare Guarantee Fund (Treasury) Special Account at the start of 1 July 2017 for the budget year beginning on 1 July 2017.
Note: The Medicare Guarantee Fund (Treasury) Special Account is the special account established by section 6 of the Medicare Guarantee Act 2017.
