1 Name
This instrument is the Marriage (Celebrant Professional Development) Statement 2018.
2 Commencement
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under subsection 53(3) of the Marriage Regulations 2017.
4 Definitions
Australian Celebrations Training means Australian Celebrations Training Pty Ltd (ACN 104 287 112).
Gordon Institute of TAFE means the Gordon Institute of Technical and Further Education (ABN 27 241 053 246).
Life Skills Training means Life Skills Training Pty Ltd (ACN 059 479 159).
QualTrain means QualTrain Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 622 208 182).
Regulations means the Marriage Regulations 2017.
Rose Training Australia means Rose Training Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 605 893 810).
Part 2—Professional development activities
5 List of professional development activities
(1) For the purposes of paragraph 53(3)(a) of the Regulations, Schedule 1 sets out a list of professional development activities for 2018.
(2) For the purposes of paragraph 53(3)(b) of the Regulations, the professional development activity mentioned in item 1 of the table in clause 1 of Schedule 1 is compulsory for 2018.

The amendment history in endnote 4 provides information about amendments at the provision (generally section or equivalent) level. It also includes information about any provision of the compiled law that has been repealed in accordance with a provision of the law.

A misdescribed amendment is an amendment that does not accurately describe the amendment to be made.
