Licence Area Plan – Mount Isa Radio

(1) This plan for radio broadcasting services in the Mount Isa area of Queensland is made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

(2) Six national services, two commercial services and two open narrowcasting radio broadcasting services are to be available in the Mount Isa area described at Attachment 1.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 1.1 are set out in Schedule One and Attachments 1.2 - 1.13 to this plan.

(3) Two community services are to be available in the Mount Isa area described at Attachment 2.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 2.1 are set out in Schedule Two and Attachments 2.2 and 2.3 to this plan.

(4) A reference in this plan to a schedule or an attachment includes a reference to a schedule or attachment as amended from time to time.
