KAKADU NATIONAL PARK

 

REVOCATION OF THE PROHIBITION ON ENTRY AND REMAINING IN CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE PARK

 

 

I, Dr James Findlay, Director of National Parks, acting pursuant to subregulation 12.23(3) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Regulations 2000, having taken into account and being satisfied that access to certain areas in the Kakadu National Park (Park) no longer endangers public safety, HEREBY REVOKE the prohibition I made in relation to access to certain areas in the Park, dated 25 June 2020, and for that purpose this revocation takes effect at 11.59pm ACST on 2 July 2020.
