REGULATIONS UNDER THE JURY EXEMPTION ACT 1905-1950.*
I, THE DEPUTY OF THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Jury Exemption Act 1905-1950.

Amendments of the Jury Exemption Regulations.†
Exemption of certain officers from jury service.
1. Regulation 2 of the Jury Exemption Regulations is repealed and the following regulation inserted in its stead:—
“2. A person holding—
(a) an office in the First or the Second Division of the Public Service of the Commonwealth;
(b) an office in the Third Division of the Attorney-General’s Department other than an office in the Patent Office, the Trade Marks Office, the Designs Office, or the Copyright Office; or
(c) an office specified in the first column of the Schedule to these Regulations,
is exempt from serving as a juror in the Australian Capital Territory.”.
