COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA

 

 

Invitation to comment on a draft bilateral agreement

with Western Australia under section 49A of the

Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth)

 

 

In accordance with subsection 49A(a) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth) (the EPBC Act) and Division 16.1 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Regulations 2000, I, GREG HUNT, Minister for the Environment, give notice that the draft bilateral agreement with Western Australia is publicly available at  http://www.environment.gov.au/EPBC/bilateral-agreements/wa or can be obtained from the contact below.

 

The bilateral agreement may declare classes of actions do not need assessment under Part 8 of the EPBC Act.

 

Any person is invited to provide written comments on the draft agreement by no later than 5pm on Friday, 27 June 2014. Written comments are to be directed to:
