EXPLANATORY STATEMENT
1. Authority for making the instrument. Information Infrastructure and Services Statute 2008, section 5.
2. Purpose and operation of the instrument. The Rules set out conditions of access to the University’s information infrastructure and services, define conditions of use and offences by users, and describe the procedures for dealing with offences and penalties for offences.
3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference. None.
4. Consultation process. The Rules were considered and approved by the Council of the University.
