Inclusion of species in the list of threatened species under section 178 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999

 

 

I, DAVID KEMP, Minister for the Environment and Heritage, pursuant to section 184(1) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, hereby amend the list referred to in section 178 of that Act by:

 

deleting from the list in the vulnerable category

 

  • Dasyurus maculatus maculatus (Spot-tailed Quoll, Spotted-tailed Quoll, Tiger Quoll south-east mainland and Tasmanian subspecies)

 

 

including in the list in the endangered category

 

  • Dasyurus maculatus maculatus (southeastern mainland population) (Spot-tailed Quoll, Spotted-tailed Quoll, Tiger Quoll (southeastern mainland population))

 

including in the list in the vulnerable category

 

  • Dasyurus maculatus maculatus (Tasmanian population) (Spot-tailed Quoll, Spotted-tailed Quoll, Tiger Quoll (Tasmanian population))
