EXPLANATORY STATEMENT
1. Authority for making the instrument. Section 8 of the Programs and Awards Statute 2013.
2. Purpose and operation of the instrument. The Rule provide for procedures for the receipt and assessment of candidatures for a higher doctorate of the University, and lists the higher doctorates that may be awarded by the University.
3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference. None.
4. Consultation process. Not required – procedural amendments only.
