HEAVY VEHICLE NATIONAL LAW

Victoria Mass limit exemptions and route specifications for certain class 2 combinations fitted with road friendly suspension Amendment Notice 2016 (No. 1)

1                      Purpose

The purpose of this Amendment Notice is to extend the operation of a Victorian Notice issued under a former corresponding law for the Heavy Vehicle National Law.

 

2                      Authorising Provision(s)

This Notice is made under Section 748 and Section 23 of Schedule 1 of the Heavy Vehicle National Law.

3                      Period of operation

This Notice commences on the date of publication in the Commonwealth Gazette.

4                      Notice amended

This Notice amends the Mass Limit Exemptions And Route Specifications For Certain Class 2 Combinations Fitted With Road Friendly Suspension originally made under the Road Safety Act 1986 (Vic) and published in the Victoria Government Gazette No. S 440, on Friday, 30 December 2011.

5                      Amendment of date of expiry

Section 5, “23 December 2016.

Vehicles travelling under a mass exemption in this Notice may travel on routes provided on the VicRoads Higher Mass Limits network maps, published on the VicRoads website.
