Heavy Vehicle Stated Maps – Amendment Notice 2019 (No.19)

Stated Maps – Amendment Notice

1                      Authorising provision

This Notice is made under:

a)      Section 174 of the Heavy Vehicle National Law as applied in each participating jurisdiction.

2                      Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to amend stated maps for vehicles at the request of road managers.  

3                      Commencement Date

The amendments take effect 28 days after publication of Amendment Notice 2019 (No.19)

4                      Title

This Notice may be cited as the Heavy Vehicle Stated Maps – Amendment Notice 2019 (No.19)

5                      Application

This Notice applies in all participating jurisdictions.  

6                      Amendments

The specified networks in Column 2 of Schedule 1 to this Notice are amended as specified in Column 4 for the Road Manager’s reasons shown in Column 5.

Remove the following roads:

  • Gold Street (from Mid Western Highway to Burnt Yards Road)
  • Burnt Yards Road (from Gold Street to Errowanbang Road)

 

These roads pose, or are likely to pose, a significant risk to public safety arising from heavy vehicle use that is incompatible with road infrastructure or traffic conditions.

Unanderra

Add a height restriction of 4.4 metres to the following road:

  • Princes Highway, Unanderra (between Nolan Street and Orangegrove Avenue) at co-ordinates 34°27'52.8"S 150°50'08.4"E

Height restriction applied at level crossing due to power lines for the electrified rail network.
