Health Insurance Regulations (Amendment)

Section 133 of the Health Insurance Act 1973 (the Act) provides that the Governor-General may make regulations for the purposes of the Act.

The Health and Community Services Legislation Amendment Act 1993 amended the Act by renumbering a number of its provisions.

The purpose of the regulations is to renumber several of the Health Insurance Regulations to ensure the numbering of the Regulations is consistent with the Act.

The regulations would commence on gazettal.
