EXPLANATORY STATEMENT
1. Authority for making the instrument. The Governance Statute, section 68(1) (General power to make rules and orders).
2. Purpose and operation of the instrument. The main object of this instrument is to provide the procedural detail for the election of staff to the ANU Council.

4. Consultation process. The Rule was made by the Vice-Chancellor on 22 December 2020
