PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1912.

Financial and Allowance Regulations (Provisional) for the Military Forces of the Commonwealth—Regulation 181c—Amendment.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1912 should come into immediate operation, and make, the Regulation to come into operation forthwith as a Provisional Regulation.

FINANCIAL AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS (PROVISIONAL FOR THE MILITARY FORCES OF THE COMMONWEALTH.

Amendment.

Schools of Instruction.

At the end of Regulation 181c—made by Statutory Rule No. 27 of 1913—add the following sub-paragraph:—

“This Regulation shall also apply to officers of the Militia Field Artillery who attended the practice Camp of the Royal Australian Field Artillery held at National Park, in the 2nd Military District, during the months of November and December, 1912, and in the cases of those officers, it shall not have been necessary for them to have obtained a “passed” or higher certificate to have been eligible to draw the allowance as prescribed in this Regulation.”
