STATUTORY RULES.

1908. No. 4.

PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACTS 19031904.

I, THE GOVERNORGENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulation under the Defence Acts 19031904 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulation to come into operation forthwith as a Provisional Regulation.

Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Military Forces of the Commonwealth.

Amendment.

Regulation 152 is cancelled, and the following substituted therefor :—

Officers attending Staff Rides will draw allowances as laid down in Regulation 143, except when they are placed under canvas, in which case Commandants may authorize an expenditure of 6s. per diem for subsistence, and 5s. per diem for forage.
