PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1912.

Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Military Forces of the Commonwealth—Regulations 71 and 91—Amendments.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1912 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulations to come into operation forthwith as Provisional Regulations.

FINANCIAL AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS FOR THE MILITARY FORCES OF THE COMMONWEALTH.

Amendment.

Royal Australian Artillery (Field and Garrison).

Regulation 71.—Sub-paragraph (ii)—Increments—which reads as follows:—

“On completion of two years’ service (including one year at £215 per annum), and subject to passing short course of gunnery, or for promotion to Lieutenant, £10 per annum,”

is cancelled, and the following substituted therefor:—

“On completion of two years’ service (including one year at £215 per annum), and subject to passing short course of gunnery, £10 per annum.”

Administrative and Instructional Staff.

Regulation 91.—Sub-paragraph (ii)—Increments—which, reads as follows:—

“On completion of two years’ service (including one year at £215 per annum), and subject to passing for promotion to Lieutenant and favorable report by the Commandant, £10 per annum,”

is cancelled, and the following substituted therefor:—

“On completion of two years’ service (including one year at £215 per annum), and subject to favorable report by the Commandant, £10 per annum.”
