REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1932.

I, THE GOVERNOR GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, here by make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1932, to come into operation on 1st May, 1933.

Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Australian Military Forces and Senior Cadets.

(Statutory Rules 1926, No. 211, as amended to this date.)

Amendments.

Regulation 38 is amended by the addition, after the word “Major” in the last column of table prescribing rates of pay for rank of Captain, of the following words:—

“On completion of twelve years’ service as Captain, promotion may be granted to the rank of Major subject to selection and recommendation by the Military Board.”
