PROCLAMATION

 

Commonwealth of   By His Excellency the

Governor-General  

 

IN pursuance of sub-section 39 (7) of the Family

Law Act 1975, I, SIR JOHN ROBERT KERR, the

Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia,

acting with the advice of the Federal Executive

Council, hereby fix 1 June 1976 as the date on and

after which proceedings under that Act may not

be instituted in or transferred to a court of summary

jurisdiction in that part of the State of Western

Australia that comprised, on 5 January 1976, the

metropolitan region within the meaning of the Town

Planning and Development Act, 1928 of that State

as amended and in force on the last-mentioned date.
