Extension of appointment of Dr Roscoe Taylor of the Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand
Dr Roscoe Taylor was appointed as a member of the Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand for a period of three years, from 19 October 2019 to 18 October 2022. As Dr Taylor’s original term as a member of the Board has ended and, as the Minister has not made a decision to re-appoint or not to re-appoint
Dr Taylor, then by virtue of subsection 117(5) of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991 (Cth), his term as a member of the Board will continue on the basis that the original term is extended until the end of the period of 6 months from 19 October 2022; or until the Minister notifies whether Dr Taylor is reappointed or not, whichever first happens.
