Export Market Development Grants Regulations (Amendment)

These Regulations repeal a redundant regulation and schedule relating to the requirement to provide a statutory declaration verifying to the truthfulness and correctness of information contained in a claim for a grant under the Export Market Development Grants Act 1974.

Regulation 1: Commencement

Provides for the Regulations to commence on 1 July 1992. Regulation 2: Amendment

This is a declaratory provision.

Regulation 3: Regulation 5 (Verification of claim)

Repeals regulation 5 which is redundant as the intent behind it is otherwise covered by the offences created by section 39 of the Export Market Development Grants Act 1974.

Regulation 4: Schedule 3

Repeals Schedule 3 to the regulations. Schedule 3 sets out the form of the statutory declaration required for the purposes of regulation 5 and is consequently redundant.
