EXPIRY OF PETROLEUM EXPLORATION PERMIT EPP41

 

I, GRAEME ALBERT WATERS, the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator, hereby give notice that Petroleum Exploration Permit EPP41 held by Bight Petroleum Pty Ltd expired on 6 July 2024 in default of a permit condition.

 

Grounds for default include:

 

Non-compliance with Condition 1 (as varied by the instrument dated 3 March 2016) of Petroleum Exploration Permit EPP41 specifically the failure to complete the Permit Years 1-3 work program commitments as follows:

 

  • Acquire 850 km² of new 3D seismic survey.
  • Geological and geotechnical studies including 3D seismic interpretation, basin modelling, reservoir & fault seal modelling.
  • Drill 1 exploration well.
