Victoria - Exemption in Relation to Silage Trailers 2010 Amendment Notice 2016 (No. 1)
1 Purpose
(1) The purpose of this Notice is to temporarily extend the operation of a Notice issued under a former corresponding law for the Heavy Vehicle National Law.
Note: the Exemption in Relation to Silage Trailers was originally due to expire on 10 June 2015, a date that was subsequently amended. The last amendment was by the Victoria - Exemption in Relation to Silage Trailers 2010 Amendment Notice (No. 3) 2015 which amended the expiry date to 31 January 2016. This amendment further extends the exemption to 31 January 2017.
2 Authorising Provision(s)
(1) This Notice is made under Section 23 of Schedule 1 of the Heavy Vehicle National Law.
3 Period of operation
(1) This Notice commences on the date of publication in the Commonwealth Gazette.
4 Notice amended
(1) This Notice amends the Exemption in Relation to Silage Trailers originally made under the Road Safety Act 1986 (Vic) and published in the Victoria Government Gazette No. S 249 Monday 28 June 2010.
5 Clauses amended
(1) Clause 5 is amended as follows—
(a) Omit ’31 January 2016’, and insert ‘31 January 2017’.
