EXEMPTION FROM DISPLAYING AN AVIATION SECURITY IDENTIFICATION CARD IN AN AIRSIDE AREA
I, RAYMOND THESEIRA, Acting Director, Transport Security Operations, Aviation and Maritime
Security Division, an authorised Delegate of the Secretary of the Department of Home Affairs, under
section 127 of the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004, make this notice under the Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005 (the Regulations).
This notice is made under subregulation 3.08(3) of the Regulations.
I, GIVE employees and contractors of Fulton Hogan Industries Pty Ltd and BM Alliance Operations
Pty Limited that are undertaking works as part of the airport Runway Overlay Project, an exemption
from displaying an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) in the secure area of Moranbah
Airport.
This exemption operates from 29 April 2018 to 15 August 2018 subject to the conditions below:
- Employees and contractors of Fulton Hogan Industries Pty Ltd and BM Alliance Operations Pty
Limited are to be under the supervision of an ASIC holder when undertaking project activity
2. The exemption does not operate during the operational period
Definitions
operational period has the same meaning as prescribed by regulation 4.01 of the Regulations
