EXEMPTION FROM DISPLAYING AN AVIATION SECURITY IDENTIFICATION CARD IN A SECURE
Area – PERTH AIRPORT
I, JACQUELINE IRELAND, Director, Transport Security Operations, Office of Transport Security, under regulation 3.08 of the Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005:
GIVE registered employees and guests of Qantas Airways Limited attending the Boeing
B787-9 ‘Dreamliner’ event for the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) at the Qantas Domestic Terminal (T4) of Perth Airport, an exemption from displaying an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) in the secure area of Perth Airport T4.
This notice is subject to the following conditions:
- all guests (including invited Qantas Airways Limited staff) are to present a valid
ticket and photo identification to the Qantas Marketing, Events and Promotional team
as a condition of entry to the ATEC event; and
2. all guests (including invited Qantas Airways Limited staff) are to be issued with a
Qantas wristband as a condition of entry; and
3. the exemption from displaying an ASIC is limited to the area consisting of:
- the aerobridge connected to Gate 14 of T4; and
- on board the Boeing B787-9 ‘Dreamliner’ aircraft (registration number VH-
ZNA) between the dates and times specified below.
This notice will be in force between 1800 hours and 2000 hours on 19 November 2017.
