EXEMPTION FROM DISPLAYING AN AVIATION SECURITY IDENTIFICATION CARD IN A SECURE
Area – ADELAIDE AIRPORT
I, JACQUELINE IRELAND, Director, Transport Security Operations, Office of Transport Security, under regulation 3.08 of the Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005:
GIVE registered employees and guests of Qantas Airways Limited attending the Boeing
B787-9 ‘Dreamliner’ event at Adelaide Airport, an exemption from displaying an Aviation
Security Identification Card (ASIC) in the secure area of Adelaide Airport.
This notice is subject to the following conditions:
- all guests (including invited Qantas Airways Limited staff) are to present a valid
ticket and photo identification to the Qantas Marketing, Events and Promotional team
as a condition of entry; and
2. all guests (including invited Qantas Airways Limited staff) are to be issued with a
Qantas wristband as a condition of entry; and
3. the exemption from displaying an ASIC is limited to the area consisting of:
- the aerobridge connected to Gate 22 of Adelaide Airport; and
- on board the Boeing B787-9 ‘Dreamliner’ aircraft (registration number VH-
ZNA) between the dates and times specified below.
This notice will be in force between 1030 hours and 1630 hours on 18 November 2017.
