Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005

 

EXEMPTION FROM DISPLAYING AN AVIATION SECURITY IDENTIFICATION CARD FOR A CLASS OF PERSON

 

 

I, JACQUELINE IRELAND, Director, Transport Security Operations, Aviation and Maritime Security Division, an authorised Delegate of the Secretary of the Department of Home Affairs, under section 127 of the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004, make this notice under the Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005 (the Regulations).

 

This notice is made under subregulation 3.08(3) of the Regulations.

 

I, GIVE employees and contractors of Fulton Hogan Industries Pty Ltd (ABN: 54 000 538 689) and GHD Pty Ltd (ABN: 39 008 488 373) that are undertaking works as part of the airport Runway Overlay Project, an exemption from displaying an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) at Rockhampton Airport.

 

This exemption operates from the 13 July 2018 to 28 May 2019 subject to the conditions below:

 

1. Employees and contractors of Fulton Hogan Industries Pty Ltd and GHD Pty Ltd are to be under the supervision of an ASIC holder when undertaking project activity

 

2. The exemption does not operate during the operational period in the Airside Security Restricted Area

 

Definitions:

operational period has the same meaning as prescribed by regulation 4.01 of the Regulations
