EXEMPTION FROM DISPLAYING AN AVIATION SECURITY IDENTIFICATION CARD FOR A CLASS OF PERSON

 

 

I, JACQUELINE IRELAND, Director, Transport Security Operations, Aviation and Maritime Security Division, under regulation 3.08 of the Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005,

GIVE the following class of persons an exemption from displaying an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) when undertaking a tour of a Boeing 757 aircraft located at Bay 99 at Sydney Airport:

 

  • Guests of Hawker Pacific comprising of media, local trade and invited VIP customers for the purpose of attending the celebration of the 100th tour of ‘Journeys by Private Jet with Captains Choice’. 

 

This exemption operates from 14:30 to 19:30 on 30 July 2018.

 

This Notice is issued on condition that:

 

  1. All guests of Hawker Pacific are to be checked off a guest list prior to and at the end of the tour of the Boeing 757 aircraft.
  2. The guests are to be supervised by an ASIC holder at all times.
  3. Guests are not permitted to access the airside other than when exiting/entering the bus and  when entering/existing the Boeing 757 aircraft located at Bay 99 of Sydney Airport.
