Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Regulations 2003
EXEMPTION FROM CARRYING AND DISPLAYING A MARITIME SECURITY IDENTIFICATION CARD (MSIC)
I, PAULINE MARGARET SULLIVAN, General Manager Transport Security Operations, Office of Transport Security, under regulation 6.07M of the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Regulations 2003 (the Regulations), GIVE all personnel and contractors of Woodside Energy Ltd, an exemption from carrying and displaying an MSIC when working within the offshore security zones of the following eight security regulated offshore facilities:
- Angel;
- Goodwyn Alpha;
- Nganhurra;
- Ngujima-Yin;
- North Rankin Complex;
- Northern Endeavour;
- Okha; and
- Pluto Alpha.
This exemption is issued on condition that:
- It only gives an exemption from the requirement to display and carry a MSIC. The Regulations pertaining to the requirement to hold a MSIC remain in force.
- When not carried by the MSIC holder, the MSIC must be securely stowed on site and must be able to be produced on request.
- Visitors to the facility who do not hold an MSIC, or temporary MSIC, must be escorted and/or monitored by an MSIC holder.
This exemption commences upon publication in the Gazette and remains in force until 1 March 2016, unless revoked earlier.
