EAST BLOCK BUILDING, ACT, HERITAGE MANAGEMENT PLAN – INVITATION FOR PUBLIC COMMENT
CBRE (V) Pty Ltd, on behalf of Perpetual Corporate Trust Limited (ACN 000 341 533) ATF the EG Delta - ESG Property Fund A Ownership Trust No.1 (Perpetual Corporate Trust) engaged Environmental Resources Management Australia Pty Ltd to prepare a draft Heritage Management Plan for East Block Building, Parkes, ACT, which is a property on the Commonwealth Heritage List.
East Block is subject to a National Land Crown Lease. The obligation to protect the Commonwealth Heritage values is a requirement of the National Land Crown Lease. The National Land Crown Lessee (Crown Lessee) for East Block is Perpetual Corporate Trust. The Department of Finance ensures that the Crown Lessee complies with the Crown Lease.
Under paragraph 341S(6)(b) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, Perpetual Corporate Trust invites comment on the draft Heritage Management Plan from members of the public, Indigenous people with rights and interest in the place, key stakeholders and community groups.
