EXPLANATORY STATEMENT
1. Authority for making the instrument. Discipline Statute 2005, section 3.
2. Purpose and operation of the instrument. The Rules define misconduct by students of the University and set out the consequences of, and University procedures for dealing with, misconduct.
3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference. None.
4. Consultation process. The Rules were made by the Vice-Chancellor on the advice of the Academic Board.
