DELEGATION UNDER SECTION 68 OF THE OFFSHORE PETROLEUM AND GREENHOUSE GAS STORAGE ACT 2006 (THE ACT)
I, MATTHEW CANAVAN, the Minister for Resources and Northern Australia, for the Commonwealth of Australia, as ‘the Joint Authority’ and ‘the responsible Commonwealth Minister’ for the offshore area of the Territory of Ashmore and Cartier Islands hereby revoke all existing delegations and delegate all my powers under the Act (other than the power of delegation) and the regulations to the person who, from time to time, holds, occupies, or performs the duties of the office of General Manager, Offshore Resources Branch, Resources Division, Department of Industry, Innovation and Science of the Commonwealth of Australia.
