REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1970, THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1971 AND THE AIR FORCE ACT 1923-1965.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1970, the Naval Defence Act 1910-1971 and the Air Force Act 1923-1965.

Amendments of the Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations†
Senior Chaplain’s allowances.
1. Regulation 16 of the Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations is amended by omitting the figures “ $223.00 ” and substituting the figures “ $250.00 ”.
Schedules 2 to 4 (inclusive).
2. Schedules 2 to 4 (inclusive) to the Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations are repealed and the following Schedules substituted:—

Schedule 14.

“ Sub-regulation 645 (2) ”.
Schedule 13.
6. Schedule 15 to the Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations is amended by omitting the item relating to sub-regulation 646 (3a).
Application.
7. The amendments affected by regulations 1, 2, 3 and 4 apply to and in relation to—
(a) members of the Air Force—as if those amendments had come into operation on 1 November 1973; and
(b) members of the Naval Forces or of the Military Forces—as if those amendments had come into operation on 2 November 1973.
