EXPLANATORY STATEMENT
STATUTORY RULES 1982 NO. 186
ISSUED BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE MINISTER FOR DEFENCE AMENDMENT OF THE DEFENCE FORCE (RESERVES) (FINANCIAL) REGULATIONS
Section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979 allows the Minister to make interim determinations amending or repealing regulations. The Act also deems such interim determination to be Statutory Rules.
Regulation 4 of the Defence Force (Reserves) (Financial) Regulations provides annual rates of pay for officers holding particular appointments.
These Statutory Rules amend regulation 4 to include a pay rate of $8,325 per year for the Deputy Director of Reserves - Air Force, an officer of the Citizen Air Force.
The date of effect is 4 May 1982.
