Declaration of Exemption

I, Carl-Magnus Larsson, Chief Executive Officer of ARPANSA, acting pursuant to regulation 38(5) of the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Regulations 1999 (the Regulations), am satisfied that the Australian War Memorial, in dealing with igniters for gas turbine engines containing up to 110 kBq of krypton-85, satisfies the requirements of paragraphs 38(5)(a) and (b) of the Regulations.  [AK1]

I therefore declare this dealing to be exempt.
