DAIRY PRODUCE LEVY (AMOUNTS OF LEVY) REGULATIONS.

 

Statutory Rules 1964, No. 77.(a)

 

Commencement.

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on the first day of July, 1964.

Definition.

2. Regulation 2 of the Dairy Produce Levy (Amounts of Levy) Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Dairy Produce Levy Act 1958” and inserting in their stead the words “Dairy Produce Levy Act 1958-1964”.

Prescribed amounts of levy on butter and butter powder.

3. Regulation 3 of the Dairy Produce Levy (Amounts of Levy) Regulations is amended by inserting after the word “butter” (wherever occurring) the words “or butter powder”.

4. The Dairy Produce Levy (Amounts of Levy) Regulations are amended by adding at the end thereof the following regulation:—

Prescribed amounts of levy on butteroil or ghee.

“5.—(1.) For the purposes of paragraph (a) of sub-section (1.) of section 7a of the Act, the amount for each pound of the butteroil or ghee is five sixty-fourths of a penny.

“(2.) For the purposes of paragraph (b) of sub-section (1.) of section 7a of the Act, the amount for each pound of the butteroil or ghee is five thirty-seconds of a penny.”.
