1 Name
This instrument is the Customs (Statement for Electronic Communication of Export Submanifest) Instrument 2024.
2 Commencement
This instrument commences on 1 October 2024.
3 Authority
This instrument is made under section 4A of the Customs Act 1901.
4 Definitions
In this instrument:
Act means the Customs Act 1901.
Department means the Department of Home Affairs.
5 Approved statement
For the purpose of communicating electronically to the Department a submanifest in accordance with section 117A of the Act in respect of goods for exportation by a ship or aircraft, the export submanifest contained in the table is approved as an approved statement.

14 | Contingency Customs Authority Number (C-CAN) | EXCC – goods normally subject to entry that have been delivered for export or have been exported in accordance with an authority to deal given when the Comptroller‑General of Customs has given notice that the ICS is temporarily inoperative and the goods have been entered by document under paragraph 126E(2)(b) of the Act. |
