REGULATION UNDER THE CUSTOMS ACT 1901-1936.*

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Customs Act 1901-1936.

Amendment of the Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations.†

Third Schedule.

The Third Schedule to the Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations is amended by inserting after item 10 the following item:—

“10a

Potatoes for food purposes

1. The potatoes shall be:—

(a) intended for—

(i) use as ships’ stores on overseas vessels; or

(ii) shipment to an island in the Pacific Ocean; and

(b) entered for transhipment”.
