Reverse

A representation of a body of water and a cliff. The design features a representation of a lighthouse emitting stylised representations of light consisting of a series of stripes, circles and curved lines arranged in a repetitive pattern. The design also includes the inscription ‘5 DOLLARS’, ‘1 oz .999 Ag’ and a stylised representation of the initials of the designer Bronwyn King ‘BK’.

A central circle containing a stylised representation of a poppy flower. Surrounding the central circle, the inscription ‘LEST WE FORGET’ and a representation of a dot, that are in turn surrounded by a series of red coloured stripes arranged in a repetitive circular pattern, 2 concentric circles, 5 stylised representations of crosses and a representation of poppy flowers in between those crosses. The design includes the inscription ‘TWO DOLLARS’.

Surrounding the central circle, the inscription ‘LEST WE FORGET’ and a representation of a dot, that are in turn surrounded by a series of red coloured stripes arranged in a repetitive circular pattern, 2 concentric circles, 5 stylised representations of crosses and a representation of poppy flowers in between those crosses. The design includes the inscription ‘TWO DOLLARS’.

A representation of the Anzac Centenary logo, which is made up of  a representation of a soldier standing with a rifle and the inscriptions ‘00’, ‘YEARS OF’, ‘ANZAC’, ‘THE SPIRIT LIVES’ and ‘2014 – 2018’. The design includes an ornamental border immediately inside the rim of the coin, the inscription ‘ONE DOLLAR’ and a stylised representation of the map of Australia enclosed by a circle.
