1 Name of Determination

  This Determination is the Currency (Royal Australian Mint) Determination 2003 (No. 4).

2 Commencement

  This Determination commences on gazettal.

3 Specification of coins

  This Determination specifies, for a coin having the denomination and standard composition specified in columns 2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 1, the standard weight, the allowable variation from that weight, the dimensions and the design specified in columns 4, 5 and 6 of that Part.

4 Application of Determination

  The specifications in Schedule 1 to this Determination do not affect any other Determination of the specification of a coin.

 (a) a representation of a rugby player taking a kick at goal, with a rugby ball at his feet; and

 (b) a set of rugby goal posts ahead of the player, with the logo of the Rugby World Cup, comprising:

 (i) a stylised image of a rugby ball; and

 (ii) the inscription ‘iRB’ above the image; and

 (iii) the inscription ‘RUGBY WORLD CUP 2003’ below the image;

  between the goal posts; and

 (c) the inscriptions:

 (i) ‘The World in Union’ to the left of the goal posts; and

 (ii) ‘5 Dollars’ to the right of the goal posts.
