REGULATIONS UNDER THE COTTON INDUSTRIES BOUNTY ACT 1930-1932.
(Second Amendment.)
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council hereby make the following regulations under the Cotton Industries Bounty Act 1939-1932, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of Cotton Industries Bounty Regulations.
(Statutory Rules 1930, No. 105, as amended to this, date.)
1. After regulation 12 of the Cotton Industries Bounty Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—
Power to take stock.
“12a. Any authorized person may, at all reasonable times, enter upon any factory, or premises where there is manufactured or stored raw cotton or cotton yarn in any stage of manufacture in respect of which bounty has been, is, or may become, payable and may take stock of that cotton or cotton yarn.
Claimant to allow access for taking stock.
2. Regulation 13 of the Cotton Industries Bounties Regulations is amended—
(a) by inserting in paragraph (a) after the word “yarn” the words “, or for taking stock of all raw cotton or yarn in any stage of manufacture which is on the factory or premises.” and
(b) by inserting in paragraph (b), after the word “yarn”, the words “, or to take stock of all raw cotton or yarn in any stage of manufacture which is on the factory or premises.”.
3. After regulation 14 of the Cotton Industries Bounty Act 1930-1932 the following regulation is inserted:—
Offences.
“15. Any person who is guilty of any contravention of any of these regulations shall be liable, upon conviction, to a penalty not exceeding Fifty pounds.”.
