REGULATIONS UNDER THE CONTINENTAL SHELF (LIVING NATURAL RESOURCES) ACT 1968-1973.*

Amendments of the Continental Shelf (Living Natural Resources) Regulations†

1. Regulation 8 of the Continental Shelf (Living Natural Resources) Regulation is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the words “(other than an exempt boat)”;

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) the words “a person” and substituting the words “the person”;

(c) by omitting sub-regulation (3) and substituting the following sub-regulation:—

“(3) The person in charge of a ship to which this regulation applies from which diving operations are being conducted shall keep at hand the code flag A of the International Code, which he shall, on the approach of another ship, cause to be displayed in a prominent position on his ship.”;

(d) by omitting from sub-regulation (4) the words “the red pennant” and substituting the words “the code flag A of the International Code”; and

(e) by omitting from sub-regulation (6) the words “A person” and substituting the words “The person”.

2. The First Schedule to the Continental Shelf (Living Natural Resources) Regulations is amended—
