Consent given pursuant to Sections 14 and 14A to the supply of the therapeutic goods specified by Johnson & Johnson Pacific

Sections 14 and 14A Notice

On 23 October 2015, a delegate of the Secretary of the Department of Health, on the application of Johnson & Johnson Pacific, consented under sections 14 and 14A of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (the Act) to the supply of:

• 3194 units of NEUTROGENA ULTRA SHEER DRY TOUCH SPF 50+ lotion –AUST L 202300 supplied to Costco

that do not conform with the requirements of the of paragraph 3(2)(i) of the Therapeutic Goods Order No. 69 – General requirements for labels for medicines in that the expiry date is displayed on the tube crimps only instead of also being displayed on the backer card of the blister pack.

The consent is effective from 23 October 2015 and applies only to the 3194 units supplied to Costco labelled with an expiry date of February 2018. 

The consent is subject to the following condition:

1. The labels comply with all other requirements of the Therapeutic Goods Order No. 69 - General requirements for labels for medicines.
