1936. No. 5.

REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922–1934.*

THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS appointed under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1922–1934, in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the said Act, and subject to the approval of the Governor‑General, hereby makes the following Regulations.

Amendments of Commonwealth Public Service Regulations.†

Salaries of Officers of Second Division.

1. Regulation 104 is amended—

(a) by omitting from the table the office of “Assistant Commissioner, Office of Public Service Board” and the particulars shown opposite such office;

(b) by omitting from the table the office of “Assistant Secretary, Department of External Affairs” and the particulars shown opposite such office;

(c) by omitting from the table the figures “828” and “900” shown opposite the office of “Government Printer” and inserting in their stead the figures “876” and “1,000”.

Salaries of Female Officers.

2. Regulation 105b is amended—

(a) by inserting, after the office of “Librarian, Department of Trade and Customs”, the following office and particulars:—

(b) by omitting the office of “Clerk, Accounts Branch (Cashier), Victoria” and the particulars shown opposite such office;

(c) by omitting the figure and word “1 position” shown opposite the office of “Clerk, £96‑£256, Engineering Branch, Queensland” and inserting in their stead the figure and word “2 positions”.

Salaries of Officers of the Fourth Division.

3. Regulation 106 is amended—

(a) by omitting from the table the office of “Assistant (Counter)” and the particulars shown opposite such office;

(b) by omitting from the column of the table headed “Office” the words “Assistant (Meteorological Branch, Sydney and Perth)” and inserting in their stead the words “Assistant (Meteorological Branch)”;

(c) by omitting from the column of the table headed “Branch” the words “New South Wales and Western Australia” shown opposite the office of “Assistant (Meteorological Branch)”;

(d) by inserting in the table, after the office of “Foreman (Engineering Plant)” the following office and particulars :—

(e) by inserting in the table, after the office of “Foreman (Pole Depot)”, the following office and particulars:—

(f) by omitting from the table the office of “Inspector of Seamen and Licences” and the particulars shown opposite such office;

(g) by inserting in the table, after the office of “Inspector of Seamen”, the following offices and particulars:—

(h) by omitting from the table the figures “306” and “342” shown opposite the office of “Overseer (Cleaners, &c.), Works and Services Branch, Canberra” and inserting in their stead the figures “318” and “354”;

(i) by inserting in the table, after the office of “Postal Investigation Officer, Senior, Postmaster‑General’s Department, New South Wales and Victoria”, the following office and particulars:—

(j) by omitting from the column of the table headed “Department” the words “Queensland and” shown opposite the office of “Postal Investigation Officer, Senior, Postmaster‑General’s Department, Queensland and South Australia”;

(k) by inserting in the table, after the office of “Radio Inspector, Assistant”, the following office and particulars:—

(l) by inserting in the table, after the office of “Traffic Inspector”, the following office and particulars:—

(m) by inserting in the table, after the office of “Assistant (Female) (Typing, &c.)”, the following offices and particulars:—
