REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1936.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council on the recommendation of the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, hereby make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Public Service Act 1922-1936.

Amendments of the Commonwealth Public Service
(Parliamentary Officers) Regulations. †
Salaries of officers of the Second Division.
1. Regulation 68 of the Commonwealth Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended by inserting in the table in sub-regulation (1) after the words and figures—
“House of Representatives.......... | Clerk-Assistant.......... | 876 | 950” |
the following words and figures:—
“Parliamentary Library............ | Assistant-Librarian........ | 732 | 804”. |
Salaries of officers of the Third Division.
2. Regulation 69 of the Commonwealth Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended by omitting from Table C in sub-regulation (2) the following words and figures:—
“Assistant-Librarian...................... | 546 | 660 | 5 at £18 |

and inserting in their stead the following words and figures:—

Salaries of officers of the Fourth Division.
3. Regulation 70 of the Commonwealth Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended—
(a) by omitting from Table C in sub-regulation (2) the following figures and symbols shown opposite the office of Typist:―

and inserting in their stead the following figures:―
“ | 222 | 246 | 8”; |
and
(b) by omitting the following foot-note:—
“† Under 17 years, £87; at 17 years, £99; at 18 years. £111; at 19 years, £129; at 20 years, £153; at 21 years, £174; and thereafter increments of £8 annually.”
