Draft threat abatement plan for disease in natural ecosystems caused by Phytophthora cinnamomi
The Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities is seeking written comment from interested groups and individuals on the draft threat abatement plan for disease in natural ecosystems caused by Phytophthora cinnamomi.
The draft plan addresses the key threatening process 'Dieback caused by the root-rot fungus Phytophthora cinnamomi' listed under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. It describes the research, management and other actions to reduce the impacts of P. cinnamomi upon native species and ecological communities.

Public comment is sought on the draft threat abatement plan only.
The three-month public comment period will close on 20 May 2013.
