I, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Ret’d), Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under item 7 of the table in subsection 2(1) of the Budget Savings (Omnibus) Act 2016, fix 1 November 2016 as the day on which Schedule 7 to that Act commences.
