Bounty (Commercial Motor Vehicles) Amendment Act 1985

An Act to amend the Bounty (Commercial Motor Vehicles) Act 1978

[Assented to 5 April 1985]

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:

Short title, &c.

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Bounty (Commercial Motor Vehicles) Amendment Act 1985.

(2) The Bounty (Commercial Motor Vehicles) Act 19781 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

Commencement

2. This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 1984.

Interpretation

3. Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from the definition of period to which this Act applies in sub-section (1) 31 December 1984 and substituting 30 June 1985 or on such later day, not being a day later than


31 December 1985, as is fixed by the Minister, by notice published in the Gazette before 30 June 1985, as the day after which bounty is not to become payable under this Act.
