Bilateral Agreement between
the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of Queensland
under section 45 of the
Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999
In accordance with subsection 45(4) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) and Division 16.1 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Regulations 2000, I, Gregory Hunt, Minister for the Environment, give notice that the Commonwealth of Australia has entered into a bilateral agreement with the State of Queensland. Copies of the final bilateral agreement, a statement of reasons for entering into the agreement and a report on the comments received on the draft bilateral agreement published under section 49A of the EPBC Act can be viewed at www.environment.gov.au/epbc/bilateral-agreements/qld and are publicly available from:
