STATUTORY RULES.

1950. No. 82.

REGULATIONS UNDER THE WOOL USE PROMOTION ACT 1945.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Wool Use Promotion Act 1945.

AMENDMENTS OF THE AUSTRALIAN WOOL BOARD REGULATIONS.†

Salaries of officers.

1. Regulation 8 of the Australian Wool Board Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting sub-regulation (3.);

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (4.) the words and figures " who are members of an organization registered under the Commonwealth Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1904-1947 or are returned soldiers " and inserting in their stead the words " appointed by the Board "; and

(c) by omitting sub-regulation (5.).

The Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Australian Wool Board Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from Table A the words and figures—

and inserting in their stead the words and figures—

(b) by omitting from that table the words and figures—

(d) by omitting Table B.

Commencement.

3. Regulations 1 and 2 of these Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the ninth day of February, 1950.
